About the position

As a Senior Product Designer for Growth at Postman, you will be responsible for designing user experiences that facilitate the discovery, adoption, and expansion of Postman's features. This role focuses on enhancing user collaboration and efficiency, requiring a strong background in growth-oriented design and a deep understanding of user needs in the context of API lifecycle use cases.

Responsibilities

• Own the design from ideation to execution while collaborating with product, engineering, and GTM stakeholders.
• Work with product managers to define UX goals and opportunities for cross-product developer workflows, focusing on business outcomes like active usage and revenue.
• Research and consolidate customer insights to inform strategy and requirements for Land and Expand efforts.
• Produce design deliverables that align with Postman's experience and brand standards.
• Engage in continuous social listening to understand user interactions with Postman.
• Foster a developer community and implement feedback mechanisms to enhance user satisfaction.
• Communicate user concerns and feedback clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in end-to-end design practices in SaaS companies.
• Experience with growth-focused projects and an experimentally driven product team.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen design sense to understand user success and growth impacts.
• Ability to create quick, low-fidelity mockups and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Experience in conducting discovery and usability research to validate design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills to keep the team informed about product goals and user insights.
