About the position
As a Senior Product Designer specializing in healthcare analytics at IQVIA, you will lead the design and execution of the reporting experience for Media OS. Your role will involve transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making for a wide range of clients in the healthcare sector. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance user experiences, conduct usability testing, and ensure adherence to design standards, all while championing the IQVIA brand.
Responsibilities
- Lead the experience strategy and design execution for the reporting journey.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering partners to gather research and identify opportunities.
- Own the conceptual development and delivery of design artifacts to create user-validated experiences.
- Contribute to defining KPIs, UX outcomes, and success metrics for measuring design impact and business goals.
- Perform usability testing to understand user needs and inform design decisions.
- Resolve conflicting end-user requirements through user research and usability testing.
- Work inclusively with product owners to prioritize design requests.
- Drive consistency and adherence to design system standards.
- Evaluate design processes and industry best practices to enhance user experience.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to influence design direction.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in HCI, design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strategic and creative mindset with excellent judgment and analytical ability.
- Empathetic, human-centric approach to analysis with knowledge of usability and accessibility standards.
- Ability to incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research and design.
- Excellent visual design skills and experience in delivering responsive SaaS solutions.
- Proficiency with visual design and wireframing tools.
- Up to date with the latest UI trends and technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong desire to be curious, inquisitive, and innovative.
- Outstanding portfolio showcasing a variety of projects and successful experiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Basic understanding of React.js and Vue.js.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience using a hypothesis-driven approach in product development.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or healthcare industries.
