About the position

We are looking for a motivated Senior Product Designer to join our Membership team, focusing on enhancing our account creation and management experiences. This role is pivotal in driving member acquisition and retention while maintaining our high standards for quality and craft. As a passionate user-centered designer, you will collaborate cross-functionally to launch engaging digital experiences that align with CLEAR's vision for friction-free experiences in airports and beyond. Our Product Design team is composed of designers who thrive on tackling complex problems and utilizing their craft to create technology that feels like everyday magic. In this position, you will design and deliver end-to-end product flows, UX, and UI that translate abstract ideas into concrete solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure that CLEAR builds the right solutions that address the highest-order needs of both our business and users. Your role will involve defining simple, elegant solutions for complex problems, creating friction-free experiences, and advocating for best-in-class UX/UI throughout the entire design lifecycle of our products. You will adopt a consumer-centered approach to design, conducting research and utilizing data to inform decisions and optimize product performance. Your responsibilities will include mapping user flows, designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating on new features and products before and after launch. You will effectively communicate your ideas while remaining open to feedback and alternative viewpoints. Additionally, you will create best-in-class UX/UI and help maintain design systems, libraries, and patterns, producing and specifying elegant, usable, and responsive UI to high-fidelity deliverables for development within known tech constraints. Success in this role will be measured through well-crafted UX, UI, Research, and Content design that drives incremental revenue via seamless member experiences and reduces member care case volumes by enabling self-serve capabilities for members.
