About the position

As a senior product designer on the Merchant Platform Innovation team at DoorDash, you will play a crucial role in designing new end-to-end user experiences for an emerging hardware product. Responsibilities

• Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions.
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship designs.
• Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities.
• Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of work experience as a senior-level individual contributor (IC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to bring clarity to complex problem spaces.
• Passion for leading product strategy and vision for new product areas.
• Expertise in balancing strategy, research, interaction design, and visual design to achieve elegant solutions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality visual design.
