About the position

As a Senior Product Designer for Mobile AI at SAP, you will play a crucial role in shaping user experiences for AI-powered enterprise solutions. This position involves designing intuitive mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, focusing on conversational and chatbot-based experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements, create prototypes, and ensure that designs meet user needs and accessibility standards. Your work will directly impact the user experience of SAP's AI products, making it essential to gather user feedback and iterate on designs continuously.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences for iOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to define design requirements and implement cohesive user experiences.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Leverage the unique capabilities found on mobile devices (cameras, microphones, etc.) to extend and improve conversational experiences.
• Design and refine conversational experiences that utilize LLM technology to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
• Develop user journey maps and conversational flow diagrams to ensure smooth and logical interactions.
• Test and iterate on conversational designs based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather user feedback to inform design decisions.
• Analyze and synthesize research findings to create personas, scenarios, and user journeys.
• Ensure all designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
• Work closely with the client development teams and mobile design system teams to ensure feasibility and functionality of design implementations.
• Communicate design concepts and ideas through clear and compelling presentations.
• Advocate for the end user throughout the design and development process.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, mobile technology advancements, LLM technology advancements, and best practices in conversational UX/UI.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in product design, ideally within enterprise or B2B software or AI-driven products.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design expertise in shipping iOS and Android mobile experiences.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Framer, Sketch, Adobe CC, and experience with design systems.
• Experience with Swift/Java is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex AI and data-driven concepts into intuitive mobile user experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for staying ahead of mobile design trends and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with AI in enterprise software.
