About the position

As a Senior Product Designer for Partner Workspaces at Postman, you will play a crucial role in enhancing collaboration offerings that enable teams to work effectively with partner APIs. Your focus will be on designing user experiences that facilitate API development and sales, ensuring exceptional experiences for developers and partners alike.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate experiences that enable teams to collaborate efficiently with partners to build or sell API capabilities.
• Own the user experience from ideation to execution while working closely with product, engineering, and GTM stakeholders.
• Work with product managers to strategically define UX goals and opportunities for cross-product developer workflows, keeping business outcomes in mind.
• Research, gather, and consolidate customer insights to inform strategy, priorities, requirements, and use cases for partner workspaces.
• Produce design deliverables consistent with Postman's experience and brand standards.
• Engage in continuous social listening to understand how people use Postman.
• Foster a vibrant developer community and implement feedback mechanisms to improve user satisfaction.
• Communicate user concerns, motivations, and feedback clearly and concisely, both internally and externally.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in end-to-end design practices solving real-world pain points.
• Experience with successfully rolling out early-stage products and scaling them.
• Experience working with an experimentally driven product team.
• Ability to create quick, low-fidelity mockups and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to keep the broader team informed on work and user insights.
• Good understanding of how APIs work and curiosity to learn about developer tools.
