About the position

Cencora is seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join their expanding product design team. This remote role focuses on supporting the vision and lifecycle of eCommerce digital products, ensuring that customer needs are translated into accessible and user-friendly designs. The designer will collaborate with various stakeholders, including product owners and engineers, to implement effective product design strategies and mentor junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Create user experiences optimized for multiple platforms.
• Define product requirements through collaborative brainstorming and prototyping.
• Lead design initiatives to understand user needs and translate them into product strategies.
• Conceive, build, and test innovative ideas that enhance user experiences.
• Translate complex business requirements into workflows, wireframes, and intuitive user experiences.
• Manage involvement from design and product team members, driving design through influence.
• Maintain and work with design systems, journey maps, personas, and workflows.
• Conduct user research and testing, analyzing and presenting findings to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to process improvements and document new additions as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of experience in digital product design for web and mobile platforms.
• Strong skills in product design strategy, including user research and design thinking.
• Prior eCommerce product design experience is highly desired.
• Experience designing accessible user interfaces and familiarity with WCAG standards is a plus.
• Experience creating and utilizing design systems.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with engineers.
• Strong presentation, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Portfolio of work samples is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience designing accessible graphic user interfaces for complex applications.
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA Standards.
