As a Senior Product Designer for the Seller Platform at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the seller experience on our platform. Your contributions will be vital in establishing a robust foundation for our product and implementing significant improvements that will shape its long-term future. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our design solutions meet the operational needs and goals of our e-commerce initiatives. Your work will not only impact the product but also the broader community of sellers who rely on TikTok to reach their audiences. In this role, you will be expected to engage in concept development, where your strong conceptual thinking will guide the design process. You will work alongside operation and marketing strategists to translate core narratives into compelling design concepts. Your expertise in art direction will be crucial as you harness best-in-class production practices and stay updated on the latest graphics and design trends. You will visualize core concepts and develop key visuals and related assets using tools such as Figma, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Maintaining a design asset system will be part of your responsibilities, where you will contribute to and uphold TikTok Shop's Visual Identity guidelines. You will conduct concept and usability testing to gather feedback and ensure that the designs align with product specifications. Defining the right interaction model and evaluating its success will be essential, as will developing wireframes and prototypes that address user needs. You will also collaborate with UI designers to implement attractive designs and effectively communicate your design ideas and prototypes to developers, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to execution.
