About the position

As a Senior Visual Designer at Intuit, you will be an integral part of the Brand & Transformation team, which is dedicated to galvanizing customers around a meaningful and unified vision for the company. This role is pivotal in leading Intuit's brand strategy and creative direction, ensuring that our visual identity resonates with our diverse customer base. You will be responsible for creating award-winning design pieces that not only reflect our brand values but also enhance the overall customer experience across various platforms and products. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful visual solutions that align with our strategic goals. In this position, you will apply your strong conceptual thinking and extensive visual design experience to develop and extend brand visual identities. You will be tasked with transforming broad explorations into solid concepts and executing designs that effectively communicate with specific brand audiences. Your intimate knowledge of design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite will be essential as you define and implement design criteria, guidelines, and specifications that adhere to industry standards and best practices. Staying current with new technologies and industry trends will be crucial in this role, as you will need to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with other designers, researchers, and project stakeholders, ensuring that all creative outputs are aligned with the overall brand vision. Additionally, your leadership skills will be put to the test as you mentor junior designers and communicate effectively with leaders and stakeholders, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Apply strategic visual thinking to deliver end-to-end brand creative visual solutions with a focus on brand visual identity.
  • Turn go-wide explorations into solid concepts and extend those concepts into designs that resonate with specific brand audiences.
  • Utilize industry design standards and best practices to define and implement design criteria, design guidelines, and design specs.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team designers, researchers, leadership/project stakeholders, program management, marketing, and other team members.
  • Prioritize work & multi-task well; Wear multiple hats, self-manage creative bandwidth and clearly escalate constraints. Support adjacent areas like art direction and design production when needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of visual design experience working on building and extending brand visual identities, creating award-winning design pieces, scaling end-to-end event identities.
  • Intimate knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and other modern design tools.
  • Strong leadership skills: ability to work independently with fellow creative collaborators, copywriters, art directors, etc.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with leaders and project stakeholders.
  • As a senior creative, ability to mentor junior designers.
  • BA degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
