About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at Yahoo Finance, you will collaborate with product designers and cross-functional partners to define and execute the vision for new features that enhance the product. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product designers and cross-functional partners to define and execute the vision for new features.
• Lead design efforts for large projects or major parts of several business-critical projects.
• Implement innovative team practices that drive change and identify new opportunities for value creation.
• Act as a thought leader in the cross-functional group, demonstrating forward-thinking design implementation.
• Build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with broader product goals.
• Frame and provide thoughtful solutions to complex design problems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer.
• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• Mastery in UX software such as Figma.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating UX and visual design solutions.
• Foundational understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Exceptional track record in executing product design strategy and mentoring designers.
• Experience in building world-class product experiences and streamlining workflows.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead user experience design, including usability principles and user research methodology.
