In this role as a Senior Product Designer, you will collaborate with fellow product designers and cross-functional partners to define and execute the vision for new features and explorations that inspire innovation and elevate the product. You will be involved in all phases of the design process, from conception to implementation, which includes wireframing, prototyping, and visual design. As the design lead for significant projects or as a key contributor to multiple business-critical projects, your work will have a substantial impact on the user experience. You will implement innovative team practices that drive change and identify new opportunities for value creation. Acting as a thought leader within your cross-functional group, you will demonstrate the ability to implement forward-thinking design strategies. Building strong relationships and collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as Product Management and Engineering, will be essential to ensure alignment with broader product goals and company objectives. Your strong understanding of the internal design process will enable you to lead your team in framing and providing thoughtful solutions to complex design challenges.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product designers and cross-functional partners to define and execute the vision for new features and explorations.
- Execute across all phases of the design process including wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Serve as the design lead for large projects or be responsible for major parts of several business-critical projects.
- Implement innovative team practices that drive change and identify new opportunities for value creation.
- Act as a thought leader in the cross-functional group, demonstrating the ability to implement forward-thinking design.
- Lead design vision and strategy for the cross-functional group.
- Build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency with broader product goals and company objectives.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding and implementation of the internal design process.
- Lead the cross-functional team in framing and providing thoughtful solutions to complex design problems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional experience as a Product Designer.
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
- Mastery in UX software such as Figma.
- Design portfolio demonstrating strong UX and visual design solutions, with an emphasis on identifying and solving true user problems.
- Foundational understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Exceptional track record in executing product design strategy, mentoring designers, and partnering with cross-functional team members.
- Experience in building world-class product experiences and streamlining workflows with continuous iteration and improvement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be a user experience design leader, including usability principles, user research methodology, testing techniques (A/B, Multi-Variant), design theory, and interaction design.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
- Ability to take smart risks and champion new ideas.
- Passionate about contributing to and maintaining design systems.
