About the position
The Senior Product Designer for Zoom Whiteboard will play a pivotal role in enhancing the user experience of this collaborative tool. This position focuses on creating visually stunning designs and seamless interactions across various platforms, including desktop, mobile, and tablet. The designer will work closely with cross-functional teams to push the boundaries of design and elevate the product's usability and aesthetic appeal.
Responsibilities
- Leading and defining feature upgrades and usability improvements for Zoom Whiteboard.
- Partnering with product managers, engineers, and designers to set new standards for visual and interaction design.
- Establishing Zoom's Whiteboard as a top-tier tool through exceptional visual and interaction design.
- Crafting and prototyping interactions and interfaces in Figma that captivate users across multiple devices.
- Championing user-centered design principles and challenging assumptions to uncover the best solutions.
- Collaborating with design teams across Zoom to refine, inspire, and innovate through collective insight and feedback.
Requirements
- 8+ years in user-centered design with a focus on high-level functional and visual design.
- Proven expertise across desktop, mobile, and tablet interfaces.
- Ability to push boundaries, inspire, influence, and drive cross-functional teams toward creating world-class user experiences.
- Expertise working with Figma.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.
