About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at JobNimbus, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the user experience of our products. Your primary responsibility will be to advocate for our users, ensuring that our software is not only functional but also intuitive and delightful to use. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Support, to create holistic user experiences that resonate with our users' needs and expectations. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience in CRM systems, as this will be a significant focus of your work. In this role, you will champion user-centered design by leveraging user research, personas, and journey mapping to inform your design decisions. You will work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions that enhance product direction, visuals, and overall user experience. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. You will also conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs continuously. Your focus will be on improving the overall user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) across all products, with a particular emphasis on designing and enhancing user journeys within CRM systems. You will contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products. Additionally, you will utilize data and analytics to inform your design decisions and validate the effectiveness of your design solutions, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of usability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the user journey, leveraging user research, personas, and journey mapping to inform design decisions.
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs.
  • Continuously assess and improve the overall user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX) across all products.
  • Design and enhance user journeys specifically within CRM systems, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
  • Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform design decisions and validate the effectiveness of design solutions.

Requirements

  • More than five years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in improving UX journeys for feature-focused companies.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping in Figma.
  • Experience conducting user research (moderated and unmoderated) and usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about user needs and design challenges.
  • Experience working in and improving design systems.
  • Experience designing for CRM systems and understanding the unique challenges and opportunities they present is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in CRM systems is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
