About the position

The position at Alyssum Digital involves leading the design process for product design projects, focusing on user-centered design principles and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes mentorship of junior designers, maintaining design systems, and staying current with industry trends to deliver innovative solutions in AI, cloud, and healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from discovery to delivery, creating wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and detailed specifications.
• Conduct and utilize user research, testing, and data to inform and validate design decisions.
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on project goals, prioritize features, and deliver innovative solutions.
• Present designs, gather feedback, and iterate based on team and user insights.
• Mentor and guide junior designers by providing constructive feedback, sharing knowledge, and promoting design best practices within the team.
• Contribute to and help maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all products.
• Build and iterate on interactive prototypes for user testing and internal review, using insights gained to refine designs and enhance usability.
• Keep up with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI and product design.

Requirements

• 6+ years product design experience at a studio, agency or technology company
• Strong Visual Design and Product Design skills
• Design Thinking and User Research experience
• UX Research skills
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects
• Experience with prototyping tools and design software
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or relevant experience
• English strong working proficiency - MUST
