About the position
The Senior Product Designer will play a crucial role in a Washington, DC based event management startup, focusing on the development of a SaaS product that serves as an all-in-one business management tool for the event rental industry. This position requires an end-to-end designer who is skilled in UI design, UX, and user research, and is capable of collaborating across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a fast-growing startup environment and possess strong decision-making abilities. This role is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work in DC.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces and experiences for the SaaS product.
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to and help develop design systems for consistency across the product.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product design experience.
- Experience developing and contributing to design systems.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Zeplin, or similar.
- Basic coding skills in HTML and CSS are a plus.
