About the position

The Senior Product Designer at Movable Ink will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company's product offerings by enhancing user experience through innovative design solutions. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that empower marketers and drive business results. The designer will be responsible for mentoring junior designers and increasing the visibility of the design team within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the future of customer journey configuration, reporting, and insights, empowering marketers with AI-driven ideation, testing, and performance lift.
  • Work directly with product manager and engineering team in both discovery and execution cycles to ideate, prototype, test, learn, and deliver new value to customers.
  • Inform product and design decisions with a deeper understanding of user mindsets, goals, and prior experiences with the Movable Ink platform.
  • Collaborate with other designers in design reviews and maintain the InkUX Design System.
  • Apply and push forward the evolving InkUX design system to support a more accessible and consistent user experience.
  • Increase the visibility of the design team across the organization by presenting work and facilitating design activities.
  • Support the efficiency, consistency, and quality of the Product Design team's output by collaborating with other designers and offering constructive feedback.
  • Mentor junior designers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in collaborative, cross-functional team environments to ship digital products.
  • A strong portfolio of case studies demonstrating a successful track record of human-centered design solutions that address strategic business problems.
  • Experience designing for a range of users and tasks in a complex problem space.
  • Proficiency in exploring, evaluating, and refining product ideas using various design, research, and prototyping methods.
  • High comfort level with ambiguity, allowing exploration of creative solutions and navigation of complex design challenges.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of a growing, dynamic organization, moving between tactical and strategic design needs.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, particularly in articulating design decisions and offering constructive feedback to peers.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in MarTech.
  • Understanding of email and mobile marketers and journey-building workflows for trigger events.
