About the position

We are looking for a motivated Senior Product Designer to join our Strategic Initiatives team to evolve our reservation system and tooling, bring new products to life, and meet our high bar for quality and craft. If you are a passionate user-centered designer with a track record of working cross-functionally to launch smart, engaging digital experiences, then join CLEAR and help us deliver our vision for the future of friction-free experiences in airports and beyond. Our Product Design team is full of designers who love tackling complex problems and using our craft to make our tech feel like everyday magic. In this role, you will design and deliver end-to-end product flows, UX, and UI that translate big abstract ideas into concrete solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure CLEAR is building the right solutions that address the highest-order needs of both our business and users. Your responsibility will include defining simple, elegant solutions for complex problems, creating friction-free experiences, and being a fierce advocate for best-in-class UX/UI across the entire design lifecycle of our products, both in experience design and visual design of core products. You will have a consumer-centered approach to design, conducting research, and utilizing data to inform decisions and optimize product performance. Your tasks will involve mapping user flows, designing, prototyping, testing, and iterating on new features and products before and post-launch. You will effectively communicate your ideas with openness to feedback and alternative viewpoints, create best-in-class UX/UI, and help maintain design systems, libraries, and patterns. Additionally, you will produce and specify elegant, usable, and responsive UI to high-fidelity deliverables for development within known tech constraints.
