About the position

As a Senior Product Designer at Imprint, you will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that enhance the cardholder's journey. This role requires a strong sense of ownership over the design process, from ideation to execution, and involves working on various projects that contribute to a compelling co-branded credit card experience. You will lead user experience initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate across teams to solve complex problems while championing user-centered design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, test, launch, and validate design solutions.
  • Champion a culture of user-centered design and craft.
  • Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, contributing to product strategy and running design sprints.
  • Ideate and design complete user flows that fit into a larger design system.
  • Simplify complexity by breaking down tough problems and developing actionable solutions.
  • Mentor and lead other members of the product design team.
  • Explore complex, ambiguous problem spaces and work cross-collaboratively to develop innovative solutions.
  • Constantly evaluate if we are serving the cardholder and Imprint.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing consumer experiences, with a strong focus on mobile apps.
  • Outstanding product ability, visual design, and product thinking.
  • A track record of building and optimizing design systems.
  • Experience running qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Ability to use data and insights to make informed product decisions.
  • Comfort with an iterative design process and accepting feedback.
  • Competence in relevant design and prototyping tools.
  • A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience leading and growing teams would be an advantage.
  • Experience designing for multiple platforms is a huge plus.
