About the position

The Senior Product Designer will play a crucial role in designing tools and features that empower commercial real estate (CRE) professionals. This position involves leading the design process, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that enhance decision-making and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for complex features and products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers.
  • Plan and conduct comprehensive user research studies, usability testing sessions, and gather feedback from various stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed user flows, data-rich wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and pixel-perfect designs for new features and enhancements.
  • Create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that prioritize user experience, accessibility, and adhere to best practices in UI design.
  • Partner with Engineering teams to ensure designs are accurately implemented, providing clear documentation and guidelines.
  • Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and industry trends.
  • Maintain and evolve the design system, promoting consistency and scalability across the product ecosystem.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in design, HCI, or related field from an accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years of experience in product design, human-computer interaction, usability and user interface design, and/or visual design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
  • Expert proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Proven ability to lead design projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive experience in designing data-rich interfaces, workflows, and complex information architectures.
  • Proficiency in using and contributing to a design system.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related domains.
  • Portfolio showcasing work that features data visualization and complex workflows.
  • Deep understanding of data visualization principles and tools for representing complex data.
  • Experience mentoring and leading design teams.
