About the position
The Senior Product Designer at Precision eControl will focus on understanding user problems and pain points, gathering requirements based on user journeys, and designing intuitive user interfaces. This role emphasizes a user-centered approach to product development, ensuring that customer needs are met through innovative software solutions. The designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate designs through user research and prototyping.
Responsibilities
- Produce sketches, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs for user-centered interfaces and experiences using design software (Figma).
- Conduct user research, including usability testing and user interviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, prioritizing features and functionality with stakeholders and product managers.
- Review designs and features with developers, providing feedback and conducting design reviews.
- Analyze, organize, and summarize user research data, sharing findings and suggestions with stakeholders.
- Produce interactive prototypes using design software (Figma).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent education and experience.
- 7 - 10 years of experience in a similar field.
- Experience with both quantitative and qualitative user research methodologies.
- Strong holistic user experience design and prototyping experience.
- Experience designing modern, responsive interfaces that adhere to accessibility best practices.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building/maintaining design systems.
- Experience with Figma.
- Experience with HTML and CSS.
