About the position

The Senior Product Development Lifecycle Program Manager at AMAG Technology will play a crucial role in driving the development and launch of products within the AMAG Symmetry Product Portfolio. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams across various departments, ensuring efficient execution of product development processes and successful market launches. The role blends product expertise with business acumen to deliver industry-leading solutions and achieve outstanding business results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, drive, and enforce product development phase gate process collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Center the team on priorities and mitigate dysfunction and waste by refining program operations.
  • Ensure execution of the commercial release plan with Sales, Marketing, and Training for successful product launches.
  • Manage external resources required in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, including OEM partners and suppliers.
  • Facilitate regular senior leadership stage gate review processes across NPI projects.
  • Identify program risks and issues, ensuring cross-functional alignment and effective prioritization for resolution.
  • Drive Change Tracking procedures across the organization.
  • Work with Engineering leads for hardware development and prototyping to ensure smooth transitions into system integration.
  • Continuously improve the product lifecycle through retrospectives and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in leading product development or sourcing projects
  • Working knowledge of Jira and workflow management
  • Skilled in Critical Path Timeline development
  • Ability to facilitate a workstream through a cross-functional team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong project management skills, including risk assessment and schedule management.
