About the position

The position at LEM Products involves leading and coordinating new product development and improvement projects. The role focuses on maintaining a project roadmap to enhance cost, quality, and innovation for the company's product range. The successful candidate will manage a team of product developers and merchandisers, ensuring the development and implementation of new products based on customer insights and innovation. This position requires interaction with various cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve strategic objectives and optimize internal processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new product development and product improvement projects.
• Maintain a robust project roadmap for ongoing improvements in cost, quality, and innovation.
• Develop and implement new products along with performance improvements based on customer insights.
• Set the strategic plan for products, including a roadmap of ongoing product improvements.
• Interact with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, finance, and legal to reach objectives.
• Refine internal processes to optimize efficiency.
• Track and manage projects from conception to launch, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Provide project leadership and communicate updates across teams and to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Science, or a related field or relevant business experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in product development or a similar role; prior management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of product development processes from ideation to commercialization.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost optimization techniques.
• Strong market awareness with the ability to translate customer needs into product requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• A creative mindset and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
