About the position

The Senior Product Development Project Manager at Lexington Manufacturing, LLC is a senior-level technical expert responsible for driving innovation and managing projects throughout the entire product development process. This role is crucial for the company's growth, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of projects while providing quoting expertise. The position is based in Coon Rapids, MN, and reports to the Director of Product Development.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and lead projects through the entire product development process.
• Manage project scopes and ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
• Provide quoting expertise for product development projects.
• Evaluate different materials and compounds to improve product cost, performance, and quality.
• Utilize computer systems/software for manufacturing support, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Software.
• Establish time standards for each operation in the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in manufacturing or project management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or manufacturing discipline, or equivalent combination.
• Proven ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, prints, or government regulations.
• Excellent communication skills in writing reports, business correspondence, instructions, and procedures.
• Analytical skills to evaluate different materials and compounds to improve product cost, performance, and quality.
• Proficiency in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
• Knowledge of SPC, Root Cause Analysis, DoE, and FMEA.
• Proficiency in utilizing computer systems/software for manufacturing support and related functions, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Software.
• Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail.
