About the position

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. In this Senior Director role, you will lead Card's Messaging and Marketing Transformation product strategy and delivery, enabling multi-channel experiences that increase the value for Capital One Card customers. This role will also represent Card's interest, strategy, and functional requirements with Enterprise partners in shaping the Marketing and Messaging strategy. As 2024 is a pivotal year for our marketing and messaging capabilities, you will shepherd an ambitious agenda that includes a mixture of product delivery and destination product strategy outcomes. You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas: Human Centered, Business Focused, Technology Driven, Integrated Problem Solving, and Transformational Leadership. You will recruit and build a high-performing product team, design, launch, and scale card consumer marketing and messaging products, and maintain a well-managed product organization. You will also critically evaluate and converge/rationalize redundant, under-utilized, and/or otherwise low-leverage services and infrastructure in our ecosystem that is not destination-aligned.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Card's Messaging and Marketing Transformation product strategy and delivery.
  • Recruit and build a high-performing product team.
  • Design, launch, and scale card consumer marketing and messaging products.
  • Co-create a destination architecture to power marketing and messaging with Enterprise partners.
  • Maintain a well-managed product organization, including stewardship of in-production products/services.
  • Critically evaluate and converge/rationalize redundant, under-utilized, and/or low-leverage services and infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 8 years of experience in digital product management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in Agile product management
  • 8+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products.
