About the position

The position involves comprehending client data model and data structure requirements and how they relate to delivery requirements. The role requires providing both internal and external clients with pre-determined deliverables, including standard reports and moderately complex ad-hoc reports. The candidate will explain deliverables, respond to basic client questions, and coordinate with other internal groups to generate reports while performing quality checks before delivery. Building credibility with clients by consistently delivering and meeting expectations is essential. Additionally, the candidate will develop and execute User Acceptance Test plans to validate application and product upgrades, beta test application and product updates, and communicate and document test results. The role includes assisting with designing client training materials, validating client training documents, and delivering in-house client training with junior to mid-level client contacts. The candidate will also deliver application and product training for internal team members. The position requires answering questions on the functionality of applications and the value proposition of specific products and services, mapping client needs to company product and service offerings, and preparing demonstrations of applications and products. The candidate will resolve moderately complex client application and product issues and coordinate with internal business groups to resolve issues when necessary. Learning Solutions Management and Product Management road maps and working collaboratively with other groups within the division is also part of the role. Understanding data analysis, clients' business processes, and pertinent information users need to monitor and advance their objectives is crucial, as is documenting client business needs and communicating parameters for application features.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend the client data model/data structure requirements and how they relate to delivery requirements.
  • Provide internal and external clients with pre-determined deliverables, including standard reports and moderately complex ad-hoc reports; explain deliverables and respond to basic client questions; coordinate with other internal groups to generate reports and perform quality checks before delivery; build credibility with the client by delivering consistently and meeting expectations.
  • Develop and execute User Acceptance Test plans to validate application and product upgrades; beta test application and product updates; communicate and document test results; record bugs and fixes as needed.
  • Assist with designing client training materials, validating client training documents and the delivery of in-house client training with junior to mid-level client contacts; deliver application and product training for internal team members.
  • Answer questions on the functionality of applications and the value proposition of specific products and services; map client needs to company product and service offerings; prepare demonstrations of applications and products.
  • Resolve moderately complex client application and product issues; coordinate with internal business groups to resolve issues when necessary.
  • Learn Solutions Management and Product Management road maps; work collaboratively with other groups within the division.
  • Gain an understanding of data analysis, clients' business processes and pertinent information users need to monitor and advance their objectives; document client business needs; communicate parameters for application features; identify solutions for data attributes, supplying operations request for data enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing or related discipline, or equivalent experience. MBA or relevant master's degree may substitute for up to two years of related experience.
  • Minimum two years of related experience learning technology, business process platforms and data.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including the ability to translate and present technical and analytical issues; ability to communicate and coordinate work across functional areas within the division.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Advanced MS office skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Explorer and MS Outlook calendar and email; advanced skills with related technology tools and supporting applications.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
  • High degree of flexibility, motivation and drive; able to adjust to changes in approach based on new information; able to be self-directed in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
