About the position

As a Senior Product Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation within the engineering team, overseeing the development of cutting-edge products and processes that transform industries. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including Product Management, Quality, and Operations, to ensure successful project delivery across multiple dimensions such as scope, schedule, quality, and budget. You will manage a portfolio of over 6,000 products, create new intellectual property, and incorporate customer feedback to enhance product offerings. The role requires a dynamic leader who can align team activities with strategic goals and engage directly with customers through a travel component of 10%.

Responsibilities

• Set your team's vision, aligning activities with financial and strategic goals.
• Lead high-impact product and VAVE projects, setting clear requirements, project goals, and roadmaps.
• Direct the product stage-gate process, ensuring consistent, innovative results that meet VOC and margin goals.
• Oversee Engineering Change processes across the portfolio, ensuring high-quality, timely implementation.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality teams to address issues and implement solutions.
• Cultivate a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) mindset, fostering a culture of creativity and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• 7+ years in mechanical or product engineering, ideally with experience in manufacturing or building materials.
• Proficiency in Six Sigma, LEAN principles, and stage-gate management.
• 3+ years managing direct reports, with a history of driving results and fostering team growth.
• Collaborative skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and meet project milestones.
