About the position

The Senior Product Line Manager for RUCKUS Cloud at CommScope is responsible for overseeing the product line, including defining product parameters, crafting roadmaps, establishing market positioning, setting pricing structures, and advancing network edge and SaaS solutions. This role requires collaboration with engineering teams and engagement with customers to ensure the product meets market needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop the roadmap for the converged network edge platform based on SASE principles.
• Evaluate customer expectations and specific requirements across various verticals to inform deployments based on the RUCKUS Cloud-hybrid approach.
• Manage the product lifecycle for network edge devices and services platforms.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to realize the technological vision.
• Identify and prioritize customer use cases and requirements to expand product reach into new markets.
• Establish a strong partnership with the engineering team, representing the voice of the customer.
• Engage with customers and sales teams to communicate and showcase the value proposition of offerings.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and potential areas for differentiation.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Product Management with cloud-based and/or network edge platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of campus networking architectures, including wired and wireless technologies, network segmentation, and traffic management.
• In-depth knowledge of network security technologies, including VPN, firewall, NAC, zero-trust security models, and secure SD-WAN for campus edge networks.
• Familiarity with network protocols, such as BGP, OSPF for routing and managing traffic in distributed networks.
• Proficiency in collaborating with geographically dispersed teams across different time zones.
• Demonstrated ability to manage product lifecycles and apply best practices.
• Experience with various product management tools and software, including JIRA.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration on large projects involving multiple engineering teams.
