About the position

The Senior Product Manager - AI Personalization at PayPal will play a crucial role in revolutionizing commerce by creating personalized shopping experiences for consumers and merchants. This position involves shaping the next generation of checkout experiences, impacting over 400 million consumers and 30 million merchants globally. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and product management skills to drive AI/ML initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Define and build the next generation of AI-driven experiences at PayPal.
  • Drive product and platform vision, creating capabilities that add value to merchants and consumers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define personalization opportunities across the consumer journey.
  • Evangelize and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and investment needs with cross-functional teams and C-level executives.
  • Develop an experiments playbook to ensure continuous learning and improvement of KPIs.
  • Execute in a cross-functional setting, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Run lean experiments to gather insights and improve KPIs.
  • Define and develop core data products needed for personalized experiences in collaboration with Data Science and Platform leadership.
  • Measure key AI Platform performance indicators to evaluate product value and performance.
  • Identify new opportunities based on research and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in AI Product Development.
  • 4+ years of experience in Product Management with a track record of launching and scaling multiple 0-1 products.
  • Technical and business acumen in Identity, Data Normalization, and AI-driven personalization products.
  • Experience in inspiring and mobilizing all levels of the organization with product vision and data-centric thinking.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish an iterative roadmap and experimentation culture.
  • Experience in defining product and customer experience with high-quality business requirements and user stories.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or Masters in STEM fields.
  • Experience in e-commerce, checkout, payments, and/or risk domain.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to learning.
  • Skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously across cross-functional groups.
