Senior Product Manager, AI

The AI Platform’s mission is to build AI Agents that make small business owners 10x more powerful. This team operates as a startup-within-a-startup, led by Gusto’s co-founder/Head of Technology.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the product roadmap and execution for Gus - Gusto’s agentic, conversational assistant.
• Drive Gus adoption with end users and expand Gus’s skills by driving adoption of the internal Gus CMS.
• Lead your pod of engineering, applied AI, and design to execute the Gus vision.
• Collaborate with leadership stakeholders and subject matter experts to expand Gus functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct Product Management experience.
• Entrepreneurship experience and/or bringing new technology to market is a plus.
• Passion for AI and its transformational potential.
• Experience in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for AI products.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable making decisions and executing in rapidly-changing environments.

• Experience in applying AI for customer and business benefit.
• Ability to think strategically about how AI integrates into products.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $144,000/yr to $178,000/yr in Denver & most major metro locations.
• Salary range of $186,000/yr to $230,000/yr for San Francisco, Seattle & New York.
