About the position

We are seeking a leader for the Global Hedge Products Division, responsible for the North American business and strategic platform development. This role involves being a thought leader and advocating for State Street's position in the Global Hedge business, ensuring strategic investments align with client expectations. The successful candidate will manage client outreach, execute development work for client-specific implementations, and oversee broader private market offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Work across global cross-functional teams focused on product strategy for Global Hedge core fund administration capabilities.
  • Report to the Global Head of Hedge Funds and lead strategy formulation, operating model design, and oversee strategic project implementation.
  • Manage the overall book of business for North America and serve as the primary strategic product lead alongside the Chief Commercial organization.
  • Develop product business cases and engage key stakeholders to ensure product capabilities exceed client expectations.
  • Serve as a deal team member for North America, ensuring pricing proposals are consistent with the overall book of business.
  • Execute specified Global Hedge development programs, partnering with client-facing, product, global delivery, and technology teams.
  • Create assigned development plans, manage execution, coordinate requirements gathering, and participate in the agile development process.
  • Facilitate program governance, ensuring compliance with policies, best practices, and oversight of issues and risks.
  • Participate as product owner for agile development programs, organizing program status tracking and issue resolution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of current technology and operating models affecting Global Hedge fund clients.
  • Collaborate with other teams to share approaches and improve capabilities for client service.
  • Support annual product assessment, planning, and funding prioritization activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in fund administration or related roles with knowledge of the Global Hedge product offering.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to operate independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proven leadership qualities and ability to influence stakeholders.
