About the position

Splunk is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Artificial Intelligence to lead the integration of generative AI and machine learning into their product portfolio, focusing on cybersecurity. This role involves defining product features and roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer success through deep engagement and insights.

Responsibilities

• Drive the future of AI capabilities across Splunk's product portfolio.
• Define critical features and roadmap for high-scale AI integration.
• Collaborate with AI PM counterparts for in-depth AI integration.
• Engage with customers to uncover needs and ensure success.
• Build product roadmaps based on customer needs and market forces.
• Define product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Interact with support and field teams to understand customer issues.
• Collaborate with QA, SRE, and release teams for product release cycles.
• Work with product marketing to create content.
• Ensure products meet security and legal standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven success in product management.
• Deep understanding of AI services, machine learning platforms, and generative AI.
• Strong empathy for customer problems and user experience.
• Analytical thinking and data-informed decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to simplify technical concepts.
• Ability to resolve systemic obstacles in product delivery.
• Champion continuous product improvement and customer advocacy.
