About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Paperless Post will define and execute a growth roadmap for the top-of-funnel discovery product experience, focusing on enhancing user engagement and conversion rates. This role is pivotal in creating best-in-class experiences that attract and convert millions of users, directly contributing to the company's growth objectives. The position requires a data-driven approach, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Events and Revenue growth by building best-in-class product discovery experiences across landing, browse, and search pages.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering teammates and browse stakeholders to define and execute high impact projects that achieve quarterly goals.
  • Translate company goals into a prioritized backlog of focused initiatives and GTM tactics in collaboration with Product leadership and partners in Merchandising and Marketing.
  • Conceptualize and champion projects/tactics/tests that improve the top-of-funnel user experience based on intimate knowledge of the problem space.
  • Consult and recommend improvements to the Native app browse user experience.
  • Develop hypothesis-driven roadmaps on quarterly intervals and build internal consensus and alignment.
  • Quantitatively and qualitatively track success and failures, adjusting hypotheses and team priorities accordingly, with frequent high quality reporting to P/E and stakeholder audiences.
  • Craft A/B testing strategies to optimize conversion, rapidly executing tests and iterating with Engineering and Data partners.
  • Lead cross-functional teams by enabling, inspiring, and including them in the product development process.
  • Partner with adjacent product domains to leverage viral loops that drive organic growth.
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Data, Customer Support, and Customer Insights to enhance product experiences and delight users.
  • Serve as product-lead on top-of-funnel merchandising and marketing capabilities, partnering with respective teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience in a developer-centric environment.
  • Previous exposure, education, or side projects in product design or engineering are a strong plus.
  • Curious, collaborative, and gritty with a natural problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively autonomously and jointly with teammates and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of authoring communications for different audiences.
  • Passionate about serving customers and welcoming user feedback.
  • Practice maximum ownership of customer problems and relentless pursuit of solutions.
  • Experience with KPI/OKR-based product development and crafting product tactics to achieve business and user goals.
  • Experience with A/B testing and measuring the incrementality and holistic impact of work.
  • Comfort defining and collecting relevant data, analyzing historical trends, and hypothesizing against available information.
  • Strong toolkit for organizing, influencing, and executing across engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Experience with ecommerce storefront, funnel optimization, and user activation/retention experiences.
