About the position

The Senior Product Manager Business Solutions Store/Marketplace is responsible for envisioning, prioritizing, building, and selling products, features, and services within Verizon's Business Digital Voice product portfolio. This role focuses on driving innovation and ensuring the competitiveness of the product offerings while collaborating with various teams to meet market needs and revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of the product/features from the development lifecycle (ideation to release) and lifecycle management to grow the business.
  • Reviewing and prioritizing product requirements; defining the vision and business strategy for new products or features.
  • Identifying and tracking KPIs and using them to communicate with stakeholders and guide the team's focus and priorities.
  • Communicating technical requirements as needed and understanding the technology behind the product.
  • Managing the product P&L, identifying and managing commercial risks, and ensuring strategic product decisions align with business decisions.
  • Gaining an in-depth understanding of customers and users to gather insights that shape the product experience.
  • Conducting market research on customer needs, pain points, and performing competitor gap analysis to identify new offerings.
  • Working closely with product marketers and engineers to define and drive product vision, business case, product strategy, and product roadmap.
  • Collaborating with Marketing & Sales on product positioning, messaging, and creating a product distribution and commercialization plan.
  • Defining MVPs, managing product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scoping to achieve rapid feedback cycles.
  • Synthesizing perspectives across diverse stakeholders to make quick decisions.
  • Communicating the value of the offering to customers, stakeholders, and leaders.
  • Identifying future potential and opportunity space for the product.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience understanding consumer insights, market trend analysis, usability testing, A/B testing, and/or analytics.

Nice-to-haves

  • Six or more years of Product Management experience, preferably in building B2B advanced networking, SaaS, or telecommunications products.
  • Strong product intuition and user empathy.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and motivating them in uncertain circumstances.
  • Experience operating within a multi-channel/multi-region brand.
  • Expertise in product portfolio management and understanding product P&L.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment where diverse perspectives are respected.
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter who is self-motivated but also a team player.
  • Deep data and analytic orientation for evidence-based decision making.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills, and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
