About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Commercial Deposits at Popular Bank is responsible for overseeing the full product management lifecycle of the bank's core commercial deposit products. This role involves setting strategic direction, conducting market research, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while aligning with the bank's strategic goals. The position requires a hands-on approach to product development, from market fit to post-launch support, and emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to drive product success.

Responsibilities

  • Set the strategic direction of the commercial deposit product set by defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on customer research to identify product opportunities and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify product design opportunities and understand competitive trends.
  • Build business cases for new value propositions and enhancements based on customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and manage a product roadmap by prioritizing features based on market and competitive analysis.
  • Identify and manage existing and emerging risks associated with business activities.
  • Define, measure, and provide visibility of product metrics, including performance and adoption.
  • Accountable for the financial success and viability of complex products within the Business Line.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop content that supports the product value proposition.
  • Lead change management plans for sales strategies and training processes.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership by integrating analytics to provide actionable insights for product decisions.
  • Ensure successful launch of new products, including stakeholder alignment and engagement.
  • Lead resolution of issues and opportunities for improvement that arise with the product.
  • Respond to requests from audit, risk, compliance, and legal bodies regarding products under management.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial deposit product management and end-to-end product delivery experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and foster collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range between $170,000.00 and $180,000.00 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
