About the position

As a Senior Product Manager for Core Math at McGraw Hill, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the market strategy for alternative core math products. This position involves collaborating with the VP of Math Product Management to oversee product development and ensure that the products meet the needs of educators and students. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, defining product requirements, and continuously monitoring product performance in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Math Product Management to understand and oversee market strategy for alternative core math products.
• Support product market launches and continuously monitor product performance, competitive environment, and market changes.
• Lead cross-functional groups in solution design, concept development, and decision-making on product components.
• Define and prioritize product requirements, serving as an internal/external spokesperson.
• Create impactful presentations and business proposals to influence leadership and secure funding for product initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Core curriculum education experience required.
• 8+ years of experience in product management, including managing a core curriculum product.
• Strong product leadership skills with the ability to implement solid processes and tools.

• Experience in various product frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong financial acumen to understand the impact of decisions on a profitable P&L.
