The Senior Product Manager for Creator Monetization will play a crucial role in shaping the product strategy for building a secure platform that empowers creators globally. This high-speed role requires complex problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial spirit, as the manager will be expected to find solutions and create opportunities with minimal oversight. The position involves building processes that support sustainable rapid growth while navigating a landscape largely free from red tape. The US product team focuses on understanding user needs, identifying opportunities, prioritizing problems, and rapidly creating innovative user experience solutions. The ideal candidate will be an experienced product manager who can push the innovation bar to optimize products that drive user engagement and retention. This role will involve close collaboration with various teams, including data science, operations, ad product, and engineering, to develop customized programs that enhance creator monetization based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Build product strategy and execution for monetization products and programs designed to empower and support our creators globally
  • Partner closely with data science, operations, ad product, engineering, and other creator monetization teams to develop customized programs to grow and scale creator monetization based on business needs
  • Integrate user feedback, market research, and internal data into product design to understand creator needs to improve creator satisfaction and grow TikTok's content ecosystem
  • Leverage a data driven approach to guide product design and iterations from end to end

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and above
  • 3+ years of experience in building creation and/or content-side products at a consumer focused technology company
  • Deep understanding of content consumers, content creators, and creator journey
  • Experience performing product-oriented quantitative and statistical analysis, summarizing and communicating results and insights to stakeholders
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication to build trusted relationships with cross functions

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of user generated content platforms is a plus
  • Deep understanding of creator economy is a plus
