About the position

The Senior Product Manager for Data Ingestion at Verily will lead the vision and strategy for integrating various data types into the FHIR framework. This role is pivotal in managing the roadmap for a software system that oversees data pipelines and transformations at scale, ensuring interoperability and efficiency in the Precision Health Platform.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for data ingestion, aligning technical capabilities with overall business objectives
• Develop detailed product requirements, use cases and success metrics
• Contribute to the larger Precision Health Platform strategy, and work with other product teams to identify new use cases and data types for ingestion
• Collaborate with solutions engineering, clinical informatics and other operational teams to design and implement ingestion pipelines and workflows
• Manage the product development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of new data ingestion features with engineering and design counterparts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of Product Management experience developing data platforms, platform software or internal tools
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL, pipelines, data warehousing, data processing and data quality
• Experience working with multiple types of healthcare data (EHR, claims, sensors, genomics, imaging)
• Proven track record of building, launching and iterating infrastructure or platform products

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working with, and transforming data to FHIR
• Experience with cloud based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and streaming data architecture
• Experience in healthcare, health research, life sciences, or similar industries
