About the position

As a Senior Product Manager - Analytics and Insights at SmithRx, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the analytics strategy for our Technology Product Leadership. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who is passionate about leveraging data to drive product performance and enhance decision-making processes. You will be responsible for guiding products from conception to launch, ensuring that analytics and product management are seamlessly integrated. Your primary focus will be on evaluating return on investment (ROI), prioritizing initiatives, and aligning product impacts with the company's objectives and key results (OKRs). In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure that data-driven insights are effectively utilized throughout the product development lifecycle. You will develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy that supports the evaluation of product performance and ROI. This includes defining key metrics and KPIs, ensuring data availability and accuracy, and utilizing advanced data analytics tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Your ability to provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership will be crucial in driving the strategic growth of the company. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations that communicate insights effectively to all stakeholders. As a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, you will ensure that analytics insights are clearly understood and actionable, fostering a culture of data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy to support the evaluation of product performance and ROI.
  • Work with PMs to define key metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of initiatives.
  • Ensure the availability, accuracy, and accessibility of data for stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Validate data-informed prioritization of product features, enhancements, and new initiatives.
  • Map product and project impacts to company OKRs, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to integrate analytics into product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of analytics insights.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on analytics and insights.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Looker, Heap).
  • Experience with OKRs and a solid understanding of how to map and track impacts.
  • Proven track record of driving data-informed decision-making in a product management role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in healthcare technology or a related field is a plus.
