About the position

The Senior Product Manager, Data Security at Druva is a customer-facing role focused on understanding and addressing the data security and governance needs of a diverse customer base. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather insights, develop product marketing materials, and drive product adoption through customer interactions and analysis of product telemetry. The role is pivotal in shaping the product roadmap and ensuring alignment with market demands in a rapidly growing security landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing teams to create product marketing collateral and conduct field sales training.
  • Engage with customers for product demonstrations, roadmap presentations, and feedback collection.
  • Analyze product telemetry to derive insights for the product roadmap and enhance product adoption.
  • Evaluate business metrics to inform go-to-market strategies in partnership with product marketing and sales teams.
  • Explore new product features and concepts, developing comprehensive market and product requirements.
  • Respond to industry analyst inquiries and develop presentations for analysts.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in building and shipping B2B SaaS products.
  • Proven track record as a product manager.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the security domain, particularly with data security products such as DLP, Sensitive Data Management, EDR/EPP, and SIEM/SOAR.
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand products, technology, and user experience deeply.
  • Excellent product sense with empathy for customer pain points and workflows.
  • Highly analytical with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent PM presence.
  • Proactive attitude with a history of taking ownership and driving products from concept to execution.
  • Experience in high-growth startup environments.
