As a Senior Product Manager for Database Monitoring, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex database issues into manageable solutions for our customers. You will work closely with our Database Monitoring team to develop a deep understanding of the latest challenges our customers face with their databases, including operationalization across Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams, Database Administrators (DBAs), and application developers. Your role will involve continuously refining your knowledge of various database management systems and data stores such as Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL. In this position, you will co-define and build the next generation of database monitoring and optimization capabilities alongside a talented engineering and design team. Collaboration is key, as you will work with other product teams at Datadog to maintain and improve all Datadog products, ensuring seamless integration and helping customers quickly identify the root causes of incidents and navigate through telemetry. Additionally, you will partner with marketing and cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, and support, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategies for database monitoring, data observability, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) features. Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the latest issues our customers are having with their databases.
• Continuously refine your understanding of database management systems and datastores such as Postgres, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL.
• Co-define and build the next generation of database monitoring and optimization capabilities for our customers.
• Collaborate with other Product teams in Datadog to maintain and improve all Datadog products.
• Help customers identify incidents' root causes and navigate through telemetry faster.
• Partner with marketing and cross-functional teams to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for database monitoring, data observability, and APM features.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally working on an analytics or developer-focused SaaS product.
• Hands-on experience with databases in production or building products for customers using databases in production.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the willingness to present and defend ideas to technical stakeholders and executives.
• Customer-focused with high-quality standards for products.
• Passionate about working in a high-growth and impact environment to build new products and scale existing ones.
