About the position

The Senior Product Manager leads the management and development of a significant family of products, instigates product initiatives, and pursues profitable market opportunities that align with the Bank's strategic objectives. This role requires a blend of business leadership, product vision, and collaboration to generate revenue while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manages a team of product management and marketing professionals in support of business objectives.
  • Leads the development of new deposit, lending, payments, treasury management, or other financial products from concept to market delivery.
  • Collaborates with Marketing, Digital, and Product Management teams to implement product enhancements and pricing changes based on customer needs.
  • Formulates and publishes strategies and long-term roadmaps for assigned products based on market needs and competitive landscapes.
  • Communicates and reports on strategic product plans and profitability to Senior and Executive Management, negotiating formal approval processes.
  • Plans and executes product management activities throughout the lifecycle of assigned products.
  • Collaborates with various departments during all phases of a product lifecycle, including Marketing, Sales, Training, Operations, and IT.

Requirements

  • Eight or more years of Product Management experience in a bank or other financial services firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • MBA or other master's degree from a well-regarded institution strongly preferred.
  • Significant demonstrated experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize work on multiple projects.
  • Superior business, analytical, and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in all Windows applications.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in deposits and/or product management.
