The Senior Product Manager for Digital & Marketing is responsible for the strategic development and management of new and existing features within the Key Product area, aimed at driving traffic, conversion, revenue growth, and profitability for the online channel. This role requires close collaboration with IT, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment with divisional sales goals and customer experience objectives. The Senior Product Manager will translate these goals into a logically sequenced and optimized action plan, developing a comprehensive product and feature roadmap for their area of expertise. In this position, the Senior Product Manager will oversee the adherence to the established plan, proactively identifying and resolving strategic issues that may impair site functionality or the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals. They will manage prioritization and trade-offs among merchandise, engineering, user experience, and customer support, ensuring that all aspects of product development are aligned with the overall business strategy. The role involves developing detailed product features, requirements, and implementation plans while managing and overseeing the existing functionality of the assigned area. The Senior Product Manager will identify customer segments with strong growth potential and opportunities for innovation, providing additional benefits to customers and profitability to the organization. They will gather input to define product concepts and develop strategies and implementation plans for growth, overseeing the implementation of features within their area and being accountable for the end results of implemented strategies. Leading cross-functional teams, the Senior Product Manager will coordinate among a wide range of internal and external resources to ensure that product features are brought to market according to specifications. They will define and analyze markets, including the measurement and analysis of existing pricing and merchandising, while evaluating technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Additionally, the Senior Product Manager will perform business and financial analysis, monitoring and reporting on performance, and building business cases to justify expenditures for product development. As a subject matter expert and consultant to senior management and key stakeholders, the Senior Product Manager will build strong internal relationships with technology and development teams to drive the implementation of new product features and strategies. They will also be responsible for developing and mentoring staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and performance management processes, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. The role requires staying updated on industry best practices in e-commerce and maintaining vendor relationships to understand how technological advancements can drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
