About the position

Uber Eats is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Growth Product Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this senior product management role, you will be pivotal in driving growth for a critical user segment by developing and implementing innovative strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining customers, increasing order volumes, and optimizing user experience and engagement. Your work will involve close collaboration with various teams, including Data Science, Engineering, Regional General Managers, Strategy, and Finance partners across Uber's diverse businesses and geographies. You will lead with a strong sense of customer empathy and leverage data and user research to make informed decisions, backed by solid product instincts. As a Growth Product Manager, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and developing product initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing. You will implement data-driven experiments to enhance key growth metrics and effectively communicate strategies, implementation plans, and growth objectives to a range of stakeholders, from business audiences to senior leadership. Your ability to distill the vision and strategy for the team will be crucial in generating enthusiasm among cross-functional partners and executive leadership. You will also be expected to challenge your team to think boldly and translate that energy into actionable plans, while anticipating and removing obstacles that may hinder the achievement of operational, product, and program objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities and develop product initiatives.
  • Implement data-driven experiments to improve key growth metrics.
  • Effectively present and communicate strategy, implementation, and growth plans to various collaborators.
  • Distill the vision and strategy for the team to generate enthusiasm across cross-functional partners and executive leadership.
  • Challenge the cross-functional team to think boldly and channel that energy into concrete action.
  • Anticipate and remove obstacles that slow down or prevent the delivery of operational, product, and program objectives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience delivering highly successful and innovative products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growth team.
  • Customer-obsessed with a track record of soliciting qualitative feedback and quantitative insights.
  • Data-savvy with the ability to use data to make efficient and effective decisions.
  • Technically proficient in collaborating with engineers on product technical architecture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Economics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or other quantitative fields.
  • Experience in growth product management with a track record of delivering successful 0-to-1 products.
