About the position

The Senior Product Manager at Instacart will be responsible for owning the vision, strategy, and execution of two key API product areas that enable same-day fulfillment. This role involves coordinating efforts across various tech teams and representing these efforts externally, while partnering closely with engineers and data scientists to drive priorities across the organization. The position is crucial for developing new capabilities and tools that enhance fulfillment from both retailers' websites and Instacart.com, ensuring a seamless integration for retailers and improving the overall reliability of services.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy, and execution for the Connect and Relay API product areas.
  • Coordinate efforts across all tech teams related to Fulfillment Services.
  • Partner with engineers and data scientists to drive product development.
  • Define and execute the Fulfillment Services roadmap in collaboration with product and retailer-facing teams.
  • Oversee the end-to-end fulfillment processes for various fulfillment types: pick & deliver, delivery-only, and pickup.
  • Streamline onboarding processes and the introduction of new features for retailers.
  • Drive partner enterprise sales, NPS, and growth through effective product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in a technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B product management or in client services.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
