About the position

The Senior Product Manager of Financial Technology at Priceline is responsible for leading product strategy, development, and execution across various product lines, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and packages. This role involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand requirements, create detailed product plans, and ensure the successful delivery of financial technology products that provide value to customers and internal teams. The position requires a hands-on approach, innovative thinking, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development initiatives utilizing user and competitive research, business case development, scoping, and all phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Commercial Teams, Finance, Technology, Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis to bring products to market.
  • Define product requirements, create detailed product plans, and ensure the successful delivery and launch of cross-functional financial technology solutions.
  • Research, troubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions to complex business and technical problems.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to groom, refine, develop, test, and launch new solutions.
  • Assist in leading the prioritization of features and bugs.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on product trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the financial technology space.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the Finance Technology team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Prior experience in the ecommerce and financial services industries, defining and driving customer-facing products is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize data and metrics to evaluate assumptions/outcomes.
  • Prior experience with Gen AI tools, SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, and ERP systems is a plus.
  • An understanding of the software development landscape and experience with implementing and integrating software solutions is a bonus.
  • Intellectual curiosity to research, learn, and apply industry knowledge to develop solutions that drive results.
  • An understanding of the travel landscape and/or experience with financial services is helpful.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation, accounting, and financial systems is a bonus.
  • A self-starter who is confident and able to move projects forward with little direction.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Google Analytics and SQL (a plus).
  • Experience working in travel is a plus.
