The Walmart fraud strategy team is seeking an individual contributor who is enthusiastic about developing and enhancing next-generation fraud solutions for our growing business. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities through data analysis, driving development, prioritization, and implementation efforts across various business and technology workstreams. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our fraud prevention initiatives, ensuring that we not only reduce fraud losses but also enhance the overall customer experience. As part of the eCommerce organization and reporting to the Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy, you will leverage data to engage with multiple business channels, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives aimed at minimizing fraud losses. In this role, you will represent the Fraud Strategy team in collaboration with business, risk, and engineering teams to build and evaluate business cases that support investment decisions in fraud initiatives. You will be responsible for communicating both high-level and detailed product specifications, which will include business rules, flows, cases, and user experience-focused deliverables. Your support will be crucial during product implementation and deployment, as you will engage with Engineering and Project Management to address questions and make scope trade-off decisions. After launch, you will coordinate activities to validate that the product functions as intended and that acceptance testing is successful. Additionally, you will define, track, and improve key product metrics while providing status reports on fraud initiatives. Your expertise will be essential in developing, executing, and improving action plans, providing expert advice and guidance in the application of information and best practices. You will support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs while building commitment for your perspectives and rationales. This position does not involve supervising employees, but it will have a significant impact on the overall fraud prevention strategy and execution.
