About the position

Dotdash Meredith seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead product development on Investopedia.com for financial product and service recommendation experiences. In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to transform the transactional user experience on our websites through continuous and iterative A/B testing, which may include both page optimizations and new product development. You will leverage qualitative and quantitative data regularly to make informed, data-driven decisions. As a Senior Product Manager, you will partner with general managers, design teams, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to develop and execute a robust product strategy that leverages our unique capabilities, including evergreen content, SEO optimization, user engagement, beautiful design, and respectful monetization. Your responsibilities will include checking previous days' metrics to understand the impact of your changes, driving daily check-ins with your scrum team, and coordinating with fellow product managers on cross-team projects. You will also conduct user testing studies or A/B tests to observe what is working and what is not, ensuring that the product roadmap aligns with the overall strategy and goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Check the previous days' metrics and understand how your changes impacted them.
  • Drive daily check-ins with your scrum team, providing context and keeping projects flowing.
  • Kick off new projects with engineering and design teams.
  • Coordinate with fellow product managers on the sequence of a cross-team project.
  • Review your product roadmap and strategy with general managers and senior management.
  • Conduct user testing studies or A/B tests and observe what's working and what's not.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 3-5 years of hands-on product management experience, including day-to-day product ownership and ideation.
  • Deep knowledge of what makes a great publishing brand, preferably from experience at a premium digital publisher.
  • Ability to develop a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs and executing it effectively.
  • Passion for identifying user problems and pain points.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a wide range of teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to collect, synthesize, and analyze data to inform strategy.
  • Fluency in Agile principles and methodology.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making.
