Senior Product Manager - High-Performance CPU

About the position

The Senior Product Manager at MIPS will lead the development of next-generation high-performance MIPS RISC-V Processors. This role involves collaboration with various teams, including commercial, engineering, and customers, to create innovative products that address future challenges in the semiconductor industry. The position is pivotal in defining product requirements and driving products through their life cycles, making it a highly visible and influential role within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal commercial organizations and engage key customers to understand their problems.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to define implementable product requirements that meet market needs.
• Drive products through their respective Product Life Cycles, from architectural exploration to Engineering Execution.
• Create impactful product collaterals with clear value propositions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or better in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and at least 10 years' experience.
• Strong familiarity with Arm, MIPS, RISC-V CPU architectures.
• Strong understanding of the current high-performance processor landscape.
• Experience in driving cross-functional teams to a common objective.
• Process and detail-oriented with experience using Jira or similar issue tracking systems.
• Ability to simplify complex problems and navigate uncertainty.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Marketing roles in a Semiconductor and/or Semiconductor IP Company.
• Demonstrable experience bringing high-value products to market.
• An understanding of modern AI Systems, especially at very low-level hardware and software interfaces.
