About the position

Cruise is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Technical (PMT) for AI Foundations to lead the design and development of systems, tools, and processes for training and deploying AI models. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of self-driving vehicles at scale, focusing on product vision, strategy, and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Product Vision, Strategy, and Roadmaps
• Deploy Critical Thinking to balance trade-offs and improve value
• Lead Prioritization of features and initiatives
• Engage with Customers to discover new opportunities
• Partner with Leadership to build consensus and inspire teams
• Demonstrate Strong Technical Skills to discuss technical trade-offs
• Collect and lead ideas for new opportunities
• Create roadmaps of initiatives and features
• Launch new initiatives, test their performance, and iterate quickly
• Create Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) outlining success criteria
• Develop Pareto documents for impact analysis
• Be responsible for success metrics and corrective actions
• Help prioritize features and initiatives to meet company goals

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical product management experience in a fast-paced technology company, particularly in AI or related fields
• Extensive experience with AI model development and AI training data quality
• Experience formulating a product vision and success metrics
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners and leading critical initiatives
• Outstanding communication skills with engineers, non-technical partners, and executives
• Deep appreciation for developers and customers

• Experience with autonomous vehicle technology
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks
• Familiarity with GPU usage optimization
• Familiarity with continuous learning machines and data labeling
