About the position

The Senior Product Manager - Innovation at Baxter will lead product management for digital innovation, focusing on new product development and collaboration across various divisions. This role aims to transform care through actionable insights and connected care innovation, ensuring that Baxter's products and therapies continue to improve patient outcomes globally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead ideation, roadmap development, and execution of independent commercialized solutions and internal apps.
  • Collaborate with upstream product managers, regional marketing and sales teams, R&D, and service to enhance the connectivity portfolio.
  • Drive Baxter's connected care strategy, identifying partnership and acquisition opportunities.
  • Define and implement processes and marketing programs for accelerating connectivity adoption.
  • Manage global growth strategy and adoption of new data science solutions.
  • Develop innovation program governance and operating mechanisms.
  • Conduct research and analysis of business information to understand industry and competitive environment.
  • Identify and pursue sources of incremental growth for the existing portfolio.
  • Develop business plans and financial analyses for portfolio opportunities.
  • Oversee product costs and global pricing, ensuring margin maintenance.
  • Lead requirements definition and R&D project execution.
  • Manage product positioning and messaging for product families.
  • Drive product lifecycle processes for the portfolio of products.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing and medical affairs on evidence-based proof points.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Science; MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years experience in healthcare software, medical devices or equivalent with multifaceted leadership in strategic product marketing.
  • Strong project management capabilities; PMP certification is an asset.
  • Deep marketing capability expertise, including Product Development (NPD), customer insight, marketing strategy, and innovation.
  • Ability to manage relationships with global key opinion leaders.
  • Experience with financial modeling to support NPD decision-making.
  • Experience developing product requirements for new technologies.
  • Experience in Go-to-market efforts on NPD teams.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
